What's new and good in my world
Brad Calcaterra On-Camera at The Studio
I'm super excited to begin working with Brad Calcaterra at The Studio. Everyone in class is talented, supportive and driven. After one class I already feel a burst of energy and excitement about the work being done. Here's a clip of my scene this week.
FIRST GLASS SKY PRODUCTIONS SHORT FILM!
Working together with my sister Taylor McFadden, it's with relief and excitement that we just wrapped shooting our first co-written/directed/edited short film: Loose Ends. A huge thank-you goes out to our resourceful and talented DP Nathan Marcus, the willing-and-able Matt Leibowitz who saved our ass on sound, my boyfriend-turned-actor Casey Raub and everyone else who made this possible- more shout outs and clips to come, but for now here's a pic from the shoot and a teaser of some stunt driving!
Thank you Rockaways!
The whole concept for the film started with my love for this 78' El Camino. Nothing portrays a free spirit like an engine on the road. The blues couldn't fit more perfectly than they do in the Rockaways, where we have been fortunate to shoot almost the whole film. Everyone has been so friendly and accommodating of us on our shoot and just when we thought we couldn't love this beachtown more, we do.
first self written/directed short!
Happy to announce I am working on my first self-written/ directed / etc film in collaboration with my sis, Taylor McFadden which I hope will be one of many Glass Sky Productions. The character's name is Ula Lovel- channeling that wolf energy. I'm excited to be portraying a character that I feel is lacking in modern cinema- the wild woman/woman on the edge.
